About ETB Corporation
Educational Technology and Beyond
was founded by three teachers with a desire to explore and
demonstrate how technology could be used in today’s classroom and
beyond to help enhance students’ performance. Located in Northeast
Ohio, ETB has traveled from Baltimore to Chicago, from Columbus to
Washington, D.C., all with the desire to expand the role of
technology in the field of education. The members of ETB are
available for classes, workshops, and demonstrations on a variety
of technological issues. |

Meet the ETB Team
Paul Gigliotti has been
a true pioneer in the rapidly developing field of educational
technology. His Social Studies courses have been a proving
ground for the latest in educational technology and theory for
almost decade. Mr. Gigliotti is credited with developing the
theory of the "Force Multiplier", creating true teaching
machines, to enhance student performance. He has helped
school districts move from basic Type I uses of technology to
advanced Type II technology enrichment. His students have
benefited and excelled from his work with innovative web based
assignments, virtual classrooms, podcasts, multimedia
presentations, and more. Mr. Gigliotti has presented and
shared his ideas and strategies on educational technology with his
peers on multiple occasions at the National Council for the Social
Studies (NCSS) and at the Ohio Middle School Association (OMSA).
He has taught graduate courses in educational technology for
Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. Paul Gigliotti has a Masters Degree in
Educational Technology from Cleveland State University, Cleveland,
Ohio. Mr. Gigliotti also has experience in introducing technology into the
political arena as a local campaign manager. |
| Nancy Rundell
has more than 27 years of experience in education as an
elementary and middle school educator and a member of a
variety of educational committees at her school and within the
school district. She is a skilled presenter and facilitator,
specializing in utilizing technology in the classroom,
curriculum, assessments, and techniques to use in test taking.
She has presented at the National Council for the Social
Studies (NCSS) conference, Ohio Middle School Association (OMSA) conference, and
taught a technology course via Ashland University, Ashland,
Ohio.

| Brian Donahue
has been an English teacher at Shiloh Middle School in Parma,
Ohio for the last twelve years. He has served as a team leader
for eleven of those years, as well as a mentor for entry-year
and student teachers. Serving on a variety of committees
including the Continuous Improvement and Building Advisory
boards, he has shown a desire for doing what is best for his
students and the school while utilizing the latest advances in
educational technology. A graduate of Baldwin-Wallace
College in Berea, Ohio, Brian also has earned a master’s degree in
teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. He is an
active member in the West Side Irish-American Club as well as the
87th Cleveland Pipes and Drum band where his four children
participate. |
