The Tech-10: Principles, Strategies, and Real Classroom Anecdotes for the Effective use of Technology in the Classroom for the 21^st Century Student! Part I

Abstract: This seven-week course is designed to provide educators with practical ideas and strategies for the use of technology in their classrooms to further enhance their teaching and benefit their students. Participants will be assisted in the challenge of taking educational technology to the next logical step and the creation of their own teaching machines. This session, we will provide 5 of 10 classroom-tested principles and strategies that will utilize the technology in the classroom to its greatest potential.

Educational Technology and Basic Classroom Computer Skills

This seven-week course is designed to make teachers more aware of the major components and issues involved in implementing technology into a public school setting to further enhance their teaching and benefit their students. Teachers will gain a greater knowledge of vocabulary and skills necessary to use technology in the classroom effectively. Teachers will practice the use of various types of technology in the classroom with the purpose of enhancing their own classrooms and courses of study.
