ETB Launches New Services for
Educators
September 2006
Strongsville, OH (September 19,
2006) – A new service is now available for educators to help them
utilize technology to help enhance student performance.
Educational Technology & Beyond has been started by Brian Donahue,
Nancy Rundell, and Paul Gigliotti to fill a great need in the
field of educational technology. With over 30 years of combined
experience in the field of education, ETB offers clients
experienced guides in the often confusing maze of instructional
technology.
“We frequently see teachers confused and frustrated with the
technology available in the field of education,“ said Rundell, a
seventh-grade computer teacher at Shiloh Middle School in Parma,
Ohio. “We want to show them not only what works and what doesn’t,
but also how to use that technology to get the most out of their
students, “ Rundell added.
In order to accomplish this, ETB has
developed a series of presentations and workshops that uses
technology as their base. These courses are designed to match the
needs of their audience. For example, a beginning course is
offered to help those new to the world of computers learn to use
basic functions as email and spreadsheets to make their time more
effective.
ETB is also an authorized reseller
of the mimio Interactive Whiteboard system. Incorporating the
latest advances in presentation hardware and software, mimio
offers districts concerned with their tax payers’ dollars a chance
to give their students the latest educational technology at a
fraction of the cost of other interactive whiteboard systems. ETB
also offers full product support and demonstrations of the full
line of mimio products.
